The most successful spaces have all the elements playing together in a visual symphony, just as they do in nature. As an artist I start with a blank canvas and build layers of colour, texture and form until the artwork emerges. I do the same as an interior designer, painting walls, designing upholstery fabric, up-cycling, recycling and embellishing until a room comes together.
